The purpose of the Dothan Rescue Mission is to minister to persons in need including indigent residents and transients of the area. This ministry addresses the needs of the total person. The mission is non-denominational in organization but receives support from the churches of the area. It sees itself as an extension of the churches’ ministry to needy persons. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, color, or creed.
