Serving The Total Person

The primary source of revenue for the Dothan Rescue Mission to provide services for the homeless has been from income generated through the Mission Thrift Store with a 2005 gross of $338,881.00. The Mission has just relocated the Thrift Store to a 15,000 square foot facility (approximately twice the size of the previous location). In making this move, the Mission anticipates an increase in revenue by year 2 that will allow the organization to expand the capacity for social services.
It is the goal of the Mission to utilize the additional revenue to go toward other social programs focusing on prevention and aftercare as highlighted below. The Mission needs financial assistance now to get Phase I started. Future funding of the Program will be from revenue generated through the Mission Thrift Store.
